The studio will select students from Qingdao Yehudi Menuhin School. Those selected will have the privilege of becoming Lv's direct disciples.
The studio is aiming to become a base for selecting and training exceptional young music teachers, thus contributing to the enrichment of violin education.
"The teachers I encountered during my journey in music and art, such as Yehudi Menuhin and Dorothy DeLay, have achieved exceptional educational outcomes through their teaching studios," said Lv, who is also the founding principal of Qingdao Yehudi Menuhin School.
"I have personally benefited greatly from learning in a studio setting, and I aspire to share this teaching approach with more students, young teachers, and classical music enthusiasts in Qingdao and beyond. Through this approach, my goal is to pass on my artistic experience and insights to students who have a passion for pursuing music, nurture aspiring musicians, and guide them towards becoming accomplished artists," he added during the studio's launch ceremony.
