The Sino-German Future City project encompasses an area of approximately six square kilometers, with a focal development region of around three square kilometers divided into the D1 and D2 clusters.

The D2 cluster, designed as a zero-carbon community, boasts a total construction area of about 820,000 square meters, comprising residential and ancillary spaces of around 400,000 square meters. Additionally, it features a 21,000 square-meter smart green tower office and exhibition center, a 22,000 square-meter elderly care facility, waterfront commercial ventures, kindergartens, and a comprehensive nine-year school.

The design philosophy of the Sino-German Future City blends advanced technologies and cultural elements from both China and Germany, with a strong emphasis on eco-friendliness, efficient resource utilization, and the promotion of community livability.

The construction of the zero-carbon community within the D2 cluster of the Sino-German Future City is centered around the Zhuama Mountain, establishing an ecological foundation for the creation of a top-tier urban ecosystem. Calculations reveal a significant reduction in energy consumption of approximately 68 percent compared to traditional buildings, resulting in an annual decrease of around 45,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
