A live-action studio commenced operations in Qingdao West Coast New Area on March 12, bridging a crucial gap in the realm of real-life studios within the China Movie Metropolis.
Spanning over 12,000 square meters, the studio boasts more than 20 themed settings, including police precincts, subway stations, hospitals, schools, luxurious villas, and elegant Western-style residences. It is a comprehensive facility catering to the filming needs of movie crews, advertising teams, and cultural tourism projects.

The China Movie Metropolis is equipped with 40 international-standard studios, 32 set workshops, a cutting-edge underwater production center, a digital audiovisual hub with full-fledged post-production capabilities, and the largest film and television virtual production platform in Asia. It has been used in the creation of film and television works such as The Wandering Earth, Creation of the Gods and Always on the Move.
This live-action studio not only provides a premium creative space for filmmakers but also injects a fresh wave of dynamism into the development of the Qingdao Film and Television Base.
