Qingdao has its sights on being China's "blue Silicon Valley" - an international center for marine science and technology.

On the morning of December 16, “Modern Marine Sciences and Marine Economy” National Postdoctoral Academic Forum was held at the Academic Exchange Center of Qingdao’s Ocean University of China (OUC).
