In the morning, residents jog and stroll in the parks; in the evening, young people watch the sunset over the sea, which paints the sea and sky a romantic orange. In the Shinan district of Qingdao, the happiness index of the people continues to rise.

From the "cherry blossom bus on the sea" to the cruise line "chasing seagulls and waves", cultural and tourism activities continue year-round in Shinan, without the typical off-season lull.
Popular destinations constantly rejuvenate. The historic Zhongshan Road adds 30,000 square meters of new consumer spaces. The GT PLAZA opens, with a mix of top international and local brands. And the Qingdao Olympic Sailing and Marine Culture Tourist Areas have been designated a national 5A scenic spot.
In terms of community and urban development, Shinan had a big year with the renovation of 2.48 million square meters of old residential areas, which benefits 33,000 households. This marks a year with the highest investment, the largest renovation area, and the broadest resident impact.
In the pursuit of ecological beauty, Shinan integrates green spaces with urban areas. The district has established 12 pocket parks, five tree-lined corridors, upgraded 10 three-dimensional green spaces, and enhanced 20 urban micro-landscapes. These efforts make greenery visible from windows and scenic views to raise the standard of quality of life and tourism appeal.
