An exhibition of the letters and manuscripts of renowned Chinese writer Lao She is being held at the Luotuo Xiangzi Museum in Shinan district, Qingdao.
The exhibition has gained significant attention, attracting over 2,000 visitors, including media outlets like Xinhua News Agency.
Lao She, the first writer in New China to receive the title of "People's Artist", has had a profound impact on multiple generations.
This exhibition primarily showcases his precious letters and manuscripts sourced from the Shandong Museum of Chinese Literature and Art. Of particular interest are the letters written by Lao She during his time in the United States from 1946 to 1949, filling gaps in his life's narrative during that period. These letters hold great importance for Lao She's research and provide insights into his experiences during those years.
This exhibition is one of the highlights of the collaborative exhibition of museums in Shinan district in 2023. It will play a role in enhancing the appeal of the cultural and heritage brand in Shinan district, particularly by leveraging the many residences of famous historical figures in the area.
Visitors can enjoy the exhibition until Nov 26 at the Luotuo Xiangzi Museum.
