The 2023 Qingdao civil marriage anniversary celebration was held on Oct 23 at Anna Villa in Shinan district of Qingdao. The event showcased the love stories of several couples, with 10 representative couples chosen from various stages of their marriage to take part.

Throughout the event, organizers shared the stories of these couples through various activities, including a screening of marriage anniversary documentaries and hosting marriage anniversary celebrations. A special event called "Respecting the Elderly on Double Ninth Festival" was also held.

During the marriage anniversary celebration segment, the 10 couples, dressed in wedding attire, entered the venue together while being serenaded by bands performing classic Chinese love songs. The couples then exchanged letters expressing their love for each other. Finally, the leaders of Shinan district presented the couples with marriage anniversary certificates.

As part of the event, Anna Villa provided special benefits for elderly individuals aged 60 and above. These benefits included free admission to the villa and complimentary commemorative photo shooting services.
