The first Qingdao (Shinan district) Courtyard Art Festival is being held from Sep 28 to Oct 22, with over 200 cultural activities to be held.

The event will focus on the launch of four courtyard tourist routes, immersive art experiences in the courtyard and more, injecting vitality into the cultural and tourism sector of Shinan district.

The live drama Surviving the Days of Dealing with the World premiered at the No 18 Cape Taiping Art Center. It is a drama about love and growth that tells of the setbacks and difficulties encountered by a young person pursuing love.

As a unique landmark of Qingdao, the No 18 Cape Taiping Art Center is committed to creating an artistic courtyard theater scene, allowing audiences to experience the artistic charm of the courtyard while enjoying theatrical performances.

This art festival is an attempt to build a distinctive cultural and artistic brand in Shinan district. This year, Shinan district has carried out multiple upgrades to the courtyard performance, in terms of content, number of performances, scale of the performance and the performance team.
