The Metaverse Innovation Summit was held in Qingdao's Shinan district on Sept 20. 

The summit witnessed the debut of a mixed reality (MR) headset called Rhino X2 by Ximmerse, as well as an MR system called Xingkong®.

The event was attended by over 150 participants, including officials from the Qingdao municipal government and Shinan district government, as well as experts, scholars and representatives from prominent metaverse companies.

Wang Feng, Party secretary of Shinan district, spoke about how the district is creating a strong foundation for its metaverse industry by building the Metaverse Industry Building and the Digital Economy & Metaverse Innovation Park. 

During the event, Ximmerse signed a cooperation agreement with Netease Games to develop "Codename XRX", a groundbreaking immersive multiplayer game that combines Netease Games' intellectual property with MR technology.

After the signing ceremony, a closed-door meeting regarding the innovative development of the metaverse took place. The meeting was attended by over 30 company representatives, experts and scholars.
