During the New Year holiday, Shinan's cultural tourism industry experienced a revival as visitors flocked to famous cultural destinations.

Zhanqiao Pier, an iconic landmark and well-known tourist spot in Qingdao, saw the number of visitors boom during the holiday.

According to the online tourist guide Dabiaoge, it had been months since last time when Zhanqiao Pier gathered such a great number of visitors. During the holiday, crowds of visitors from different regions of China chose the pier as a place to recharge themselves after the COVID-19 outbreak.

Silver Fish Street was reopened, as a new section of it was unveiled during the three-day holiday.

The Pioneer Dj fair kicked off in the new section of Silver Fish Street during the holiday, with many young visitors rushing to the street to buy vinyl records and take pictures.
