The Qingdao Botanical Garden is located at No 7 Yunyang Road, Shinan district, Qingdao. Constructed in 1976, the garden covers a total area of 100 hectares. Zhongshan Park and Qingdao Zoo are situated to the west and the ancient Zhanshan Temple to the east. The garden is home to a great variety of rare and endangered varieties of flora, and visitors can see more than 1,000 species of domestic and distinctive plant species at the garden.
Maple leaves are becoming crimson and ginkgo leaves are turning yellow during the late autumn season and visitors are swarming to the garden to take pictures of the autumn leaves that fall like puzzle pieces on the ground.
