The new Smart Park Construction Project of a software park and an animation park in the Shinan district of Qingdao city – located in East China's Shandong province – was completed recently, with expectations that it will help boost the management and services there greatly.
With its established goal of building 5G digital economy parks, Shinan district has made every effort to build a general control platform, four applications systems this year.
At present, a main platform for the 5G digital parks has completed the modeling of the program and has entered the final stage for data collection and collation.
It is said to be able to gather information about local businesses and provide a strong basis for the municipal government to make informed decisions – with its detailed data collections and dynamic displays of the speed of development, as well as its data predictions.
If there are signs of a slowdown, the system will call attention to the problem and help the authorities to provide timely assistance to enterprises.
In addition, the parks had optimized their management with the intelligent equipment. For example, they are equipped with an intelligent monitoring and analysis system as well as 500 surveillance cameras, which can capture human faces and analyze human trajectories in real time.
Smart streetlamps, with screens displaying weather and various announcements, are equipped with an emergency button. The emergency button – the first of its kind in Qingdao – can notify security guards, if needed, to protect visitors.
The construction of the smart park has achieved full coverage of 5G signals. The project covers a total area of about 500,000 square meters, with a network speed of up to 1.4 gbps and a delay as low as 30ms when 3,000 users operate services at the same time.
Using the smart platform, staff can get timely and detailed information – such as data on resident enterprises, resources, vehicles and personnel in the parks. [Photo/Guanhai News]
