Red House Musician, a piano-themed hotel in Qingdao's Shinan district, recently made its debut on local media after renovation.
The hotel has been converted from a "red house", which was built in 1905 on Guangxi Road. The four-story structure was designed by German architect Curt Rothkegel, who left many classic works throughout Qingdao.
The house has witnessed the historical vicissitudes of Qingdao over the past century and is now regarded as a new Instagram-worthy location on the social media platform.

In addition to the building's own artistry, the display of antique pianos and original music scores from around the world adds to the hotel's elegance and uniqueness.
The first floor is designed as a Jazz piano bar where century-old Tsingdao Beer and pianos meet and echo each other.
"We are introducing more antique pianos, with the goal that each of our 20 rooms will eventually have one," an employee said.
