Shinan district in Qingdao, Shandong province released 20 revised measures to optimize its business environment and improve government services for companies at a business conference held on May 20.
The conference themed on "optimizing business environment and improving services for companies" was attended by nearly 200 entrepreneurs in Shinan, as well as government officials at all levels.
Wang Feng, Party secretary of Shinan district gave a speech at the conference. He said that in recent years, the Shinan government has been committed to serving local companies' development and has solidly implemented a series of preferential policies to mitigate COVID-19's impacts on the companies.
He stressed that the efforts to improve the business environment will never end and the government will continue to deepen reform and create a highly efficient ecology for innovation, start-ups and investment.
According to Wang, the Shinan district government will set up a special service team to offer one-to-one assistance to local companies.
During the conference, more than 30 local entrepreneurs and companies were awarded for their outstanding contributions to Shinan's growth.
Representatives from leading companies such as Chinese home appliance giant Hisense Group and COSCO Shipping Qingdao Co also shared their stories of achieving successful development and fulfilling their social responsibilities.
