Bathing beach to reopen in Shinan

The Qingdao No 1 Bathing Beach, which is located at No 15 Nanhai Road in Shinan district, will reopen to the public on June 1, local media reported.
The bathing beach faces Huiquan Bay and is flanked on three sides by mountains, providing beautiful coastal scenery. Soft sands, trailing water, and gradual slopes make up its 580-meter length and more than 40-meter width. The beach will be open from June 1 to Oct 31, and is equipped with hundreds of dressing rooms, a luggage office, and a rescue team.
The registration for dressing room cards opened on May 16 and accepts application from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and 1:30 pm to 5 pm.
A dressing room cards cost 150 yuan ($22.17) per person. Seniors, students, enlisted military officers and people with disabilities can enjoy a 50 percent discount. People can register at the beach's underground dressing rooms.
B dressing room cards cost 300 yuan per person. The registration for B cards is at the administrative office.
Both kinds of dressing room cards require personal ID cards and those who would like to enjoy the 50 percent discount must present corresponding certificates.
