Shinan holds online recruitment for shipping and logistics industry

In order to help enterprises stabilize operation and promote development, Shinan district in Qingdao, East China's Shandong province held an online recruitment for shipping and logistics industry on April 2.

The online activity was hosted by Shinan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and Shinan Development and Reform Bureau.
Three shipping and logistics companies as well as Qingdao University of Technology (Linyi campus) participated in the online recruitment, attracting more than 18,000 people.
The shipping and logistics industry is one of the six leading industries in Shinan. There are more than 3,000 shipping and logistics enterprises in the area, and the number of A-level logistics enterprises ranks first in Qingdao.
Shinan focused on six industries including digital economy, high-end business, modern finance, fashion consumption, shipping and logistics, and cultural tourism to combine industries with human resources, providing 1,377 jobs for 44 companies.
During the activity, candidates were available to figure out their working environments through livestream videos of the companies they would like to apply for.
According to Shinan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, they will give full play to the online recruitments, with focuses on six major industries and aim to provide more high-quality jobs for job seekers.
According to preliminary data, in the first quarter of 2022, Shinan released more than 13,000 jobs through the official website of the Qingdao Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and its official WeChat account.
