Shinan district in Qingdao, East China's Shandong province rolled out 15 measures to benefit enterprises on March 21, covering areas of imports and exports, retail industry, accommodation, catering, culture and tourism.
The beneficial measures include subsidies, financing loans, and export discounts to help enterprises respond to the epidemic.
"We attach high importance to the economic operation, and we hope that these measures can boost the confidence of enterprises and promote economic recovery as soon as possible," said one of the officials from the Shinan Development and Reform Bureau.
According to the official report, the first batch of subsidy funds valued at 60 million yuan ($9.42 million) will be delivered to enterprises in Shinan before the end of March.
In response to the current challenge of financial loan for enterprises, Shinan has set up a corporate credit emergency revolving fund valued at least 100 million yuan to support enterprises that are affected by the epidemic and have difficulty in capital turnover.
In addition, Shinan will encourage related banks to appropriately lower the loan interest rate for enterprises specialized in epidemic prevention.
"The 15 policies focus on the industry's requirements, and provide us with the financial support to help us fight against the pandemic," said Liu Feng, president of the Shinan Catering Association.
