Situated at 105 Yan'an 3rd Road in the Shinan district of Qingdao city – located in East China's Shandong province –the Shinan District Cultural Center serves as a window into the precinct's public cultural activities and and the local community's spirit and aesthetic development.

It houses offices, a business department and an intangible cultural heritage protection department, as well as multiple modern rehearsal rooms and multimedia classrooms.

The center holds over 100 training classes for more than 200,000 people every year and has organized various outdoor and indoor art performances and exhibitions of original works.

A large number of cultural activities -- including dance, folk art and songs -- are produced and staged in the center, many of which have won national and provincial prizes.
