The list of 2021 Shandong gazelle companies was recently released and Qingdao Medcare Digital Engineering Co Ltd and Qingdao Low-Carbon Environmental Technology Co Ltd – from the Shinan district of Qingdao city in East China's Shandong province – made the cut, according to local media reports on Nov 11.

The list was announced by The Shandong Gazelle Enterprises Development Association. Gazelle companies are fast-growing businesses that have core annual revenue of at least $1 million and have had four years of sustained revenue growth.

Currently Shinan district is home to four Gazelle companies.
