The ongoing Super View Technology + Art exhibition in the Haitian Yunshang Art Center – located in the Shinan district of Qingdao city in East China's Shandong province – is offering visitors fresh insights and a new cultural experience.

Launched on Oct 27, it allows visitors to get close to the artistic works and enjoy city views through the medium of digital technology, according to local media reports.  

"The great combination of technology and art in this way that has never been done before, especially when a human heartbeat can be shown by high-tech through the ripples of water, making it feel so cool and real," said a local resident at the exhibition.  

Like the art center, Shinan district is said to have been giving full play to its digital advantages – creating digital cultural innovation, exploring the path of smart scenic spots and improving the quality and upgrading of cultural tourism scenic spots with intelligent robots, among other things.

It is equally said to be boosting its cultural tourism industry with science and technology, while building a model city of civilization.
