In an effort to reform the community governance system in Shinan district, Qingdao in East China's Shandong province, Zhanshan sub-district is applying a strong service and information system demonstrating Zhanshan's competence in grassroots governance.
In Zhanshan sub-district, the self-service terminal, bank e-station terminal, and other high-end digital devices are available to local residents.
Locals and enterprises in the sub-district can easily access self-service terminals for more than 100 services, including license approvals, government inquiries, efficiency card recharges, to pay water, electricity and heating fees, to make small deposits and withdrawals, and more.
"The community service is very user-friendly and problems can be solved within the community," said a resident in the Zhanshan sub-district.
