Shinan holds reading event to welcome World Book Day

A children's reading and performing event was held on April 24 in the Shinan district – in Qingdao city in East China's Shandong province – to celebrate the 26th World Book and Copyright Day which fell on April 23.
Aimed at passing down revolutionary legacy to future generations, this year's event featured a series of activities, including the awarding of revolutionary history books to family representatives.
During the event, participants recalled revolutionary moments in various ways such as the stories of outstanding Party members, children's dancing performances and exchanges of picture books.
