The Shinan district of Qingdao city in East China's Shandong province drew plenty of locals and migrant workers in the mood for fun, who chose not to go back to their hometowns for family gatherings during the weeklong Spring Festival holiday, according to local media on Feb 18.
In the middle of a huge circular plaza stands the iconic red structure known as "wind in May". It is the symbol of Wusi (literally May 4th) Square and is one of Qingdao's most famous structures. The square welcomed outdoors enthusiasts during the weeklong Spring Festival break. [Photo/app.iqilu.com]
