An early Chinese New Year's celebration themed on "I spent the Chinese New Year in Qingdao" was held on Feb 5 in the Shinan Creative 100 Cultural Industrial Park – in the Shinan district of Qingdao city in East China's Shandong province -- according to the local media. 

More than 100 employees from companies reside in the park, who chose to remain during the upcoming holiday, participated in the activity.

Liu Xiang, the park's general manager, expressed gratitude and greetings to all emloyees through an online video.

The park also gave each employee a holiday gift of instant frozen dumplings to thank them for their contributions to the industrial development of Qingdao and also sent them best wishes for Spring Festival.

In addition, Liu also visited the enterprises in the park and gave work and leisure offerings to them, to ensure that all employees have a great holiday.
