An activity called "Shanghai entrepreneurs visit and learn about Qingdao" was held on Jan 8 in the Shinan district of Qingdao city in East China's Shandong province – along with the founding meeting of the Qingdao-Shanghai Entrepreneurs Association, according to local officials.
They said the event was considered as an ideal opportunity brought about by the dispatching of a second group of professionals from Shinan to undergo training in Shanghai. There they actively integrated into the companies providing the training, gaining a deep understanding of the development of Shanghai's modern services industry.
On the afternoon of Jan 8, a number of Shanghai entrepreneurs travelled to Shinan to investigate projects. They visited key ventures such as the Qingdao International Technology Exchange Market, China Stone Industry Service Group, the Light and Shadow Club 1907 and the Qingdao Sea Palace – to get a better insight into the development environment of Shinan and to identify potential business opportunities.
