The Moon Market opened in Taipingjiao in Shinan district, Qingdao, East China's Shandong province.

The market is adjacent to a number of European style restaurants as well as Taipingjiao beach's seaside plank road.

The market is held from noon to night every Friday to Sunday and will continue until New Year's Day.

"As soon as we heard about the market, we decided to pay a visit," said one visitor, "you can enjoy the food, watch the sun set, admire the beautiful scenery, or choose from a variety of arts and crafts to buy."
