Shinan district, Qingdao in East China's Shandong province has made massive strides improving the quality of life of its residents in recent years.
The district has emerged as a stronger and more confident player in the national health arena. The Qingdao Sanatorium, founded in 1950, was one of the first "four national recuperation bases" and has received a total of important figures.
The sanatorium faces the sea in Qingdao and is filled with European villas, lush trees, and flowers that are in bloom year-round. It has a green coverage rate of 82 percent and a healthy natural environment, making it uniquely suitable for recuperation purposes.
It boasts high-quality health resources and is devoted to developing new drivers of growth for the health industry in Shinan.
The Qingdao Sanatorium has built a demonstration base combining a medical care community and a health service center in cooperation with the health commission of Shinan, allowing its high-quality medical resources to benefit nearly 50,000 residents of the community.
