The 2020 Italian Film Week, which opened on Nov 30 in the Shinan district of Qingdao city – located in East China's Shandong province – wrapped up on Dec 5, according to local officials.

They said the event was considered to be the perfect platform to showcase the achievements of China and Italy in culture, commerce and art.

Officials said it attracted more than 5,000 people from all walks of life to watch movies and participate in a number of other activities, including viewing an exhibition of posters.
