Cross-border marine industry project settles in Shinan

Sino-Norwegian (Qingdao) Innovation Technology Co Ltd will cooperate with the Norwegian Enterprise Association to build the Norwegian Cross-border Marine Industry Accelerator project in Shinan district, Qingdao, East China's Shandong province, according to local media reports on Nov 18.
The project is expected to expand Shinan's opening up to the outside world and bring in advanced science and technology as well as talent specializing in high-end marine-technology from Norway.
Wang Qingwei – legal representative of the company, said that "the Norwegian Enterprise Association, whose member companies make up 70 percent of the country's GDP, is influential here in Qingdao."
Wang added that in the future, the Norwegian Cross-border Marine Industry Accelerator project will help Norway's Marine industry gain access to the Chinese market.
Thanks to the project, a pollution-free disinfectant for use in aquaculture in Shinan is already being developed. Next, the project will encourage innovative enterprises from Norway to carry out research, development and commercialization of technological achievements in China.
