The 2020 Qingdao Shinan Entrepreneurs Conference was held in Shinan district of Qingdao, East China's Shandong province on Nov 10, during which the Shinan government rolled out a series of policies to boost investment and attract more talent.

"We wholeheartedly invite all entrepreneurs to come invest and grow in Shinan, and become a valuable partner to the district," said Zhao Yan, the district’s Party secretary.

Shinan will allocate the highest reward of 40 million yuan（$6 million) to  newly introduced headquarters enterprises in Shinan,  and give the maximum reward 150 million yuan for the financial companies.

Reportedly, the revised policies will make Shinan a more competitive district in Qingdao. One policy stipulates that newly introduced enterprises that make an economic contribution of 3 million yuan  or more will be awarded with the full amount of their contribution. The policy applies to any enterprise that has been operating for three years or less.
