A home-school co-education lecture was held in Shinan district, Qingdao, East China's Shandong province, on Sept 18-20.

Sun Yunxiao, chief expert of family education of the China Youth & Children Research Center, was invited to the event to share his educational experience with teachers and parents and promote the development of a "home-school education community" in Shinan.

Sun talked with teachers and parents in Shinan and answered their questions. He focused on strong home-school communication and cultivating good habits among students.

The event featured both an offline lecture and a livestream. More than 300 teachers and parents from Shinan participated in the live lecture, and nearly 20,000 people watched the livestream broadcast.
