As the new school year starts, more than 40,000 students from 27 primary schools and 8 junior high schools are returning to campus in Shinan district, Qingdao, East China's Shandong province. 

The district will carry out epidemic prevention measures and make every effort to ensure the health and safety of teachers and students on campus.

The long empty classrooms will once again be filled with energetic students as life returns to normal in the city.
