Sonli Group, a provider of high-tech and smart parking solutions based in Shinan district, Qingdao, has been promoting local communities to digitalize and work to improve daily life.

The company has developed a mobile app capable of checking the real-time number of vacant parking spots and accepting automated payments in Qingdao.

The app, by drawing upon parking resources in Qingdao, makes parking more convenient for drivers and provides data support for the planning and management of traffic spaces, said Cui Dao'an, a manager at the company.

According to Cui, the company has also engaged in an intelligent community pilot program in Shinan, which aims to further improve administrative efficiency through the use of new information technology.

Through the use of intelligent security equipment such as facial recognition access control, perimeter invasion detection, high-altitude parabolic detection, one-button video calls, audio recognition alarm, and fire safety alarms, the smart platform will provide useful information for the comprehensive governance of communities.

The "smart community" system has played an important role in epidemic prevention and control work. It helps communities better identify high-risk individuals through facial recognition and location tracking, said Cui.

Cui said that smart parking and smart communities both integrate emerging internet technologies such as big data, 5G, and artificial intelligence with traditional parking methods and community life.

Sonli plans to continue to provide smart solutions for modern city life and contribute to smart city development, Cui said.
