The Forbidden City Cultural and Creative Store of Qingdao is a large-scale cultural place themed Qingming Shanghe Tu, or Along the River during Tomb Sweeping Festival, and also a new venue for exploring the new integration of cultural tourism with "culture + technology".
The two-floor store is designed in the style of the Palace Museum down to every gate and commemorative plaque, enabling visitors to experience the atmosphere of the Palace Museum in Beijing while they are in Qingdao.
Cultural and creative products on first floor
The Cultural and Creative Zone on the first floor displays products such as books and tea sets from the Palace Museum.
Unique refreshments and snacks also provide visitors with authentic time-honored court cuisine from the museum.
3.0 digital pavilion on second floor
On the second floor, the first thing you see is a high-definition digital version of the famous scroll painting, Along the River During Tomb Sweeping Festival by Zhang Zeduan of the Northern Song Dynasty (AD960-1127). The original 5.28-meter-long scroll depicting a riverside scene is magnified more than 10 times by high-tech means, creating a dynamic effect with the original painting’s 814 characters, 73 head of livestock and 29 passenger and cargo ships.
