Tan Dun, the Chinese classical composer and conductor, offered his audience a rare musical treat at a concert alongside the beautiful Taiping Bay in the Shinan district of Qingdao – the stylish port city in China's eastern Shandong province -- on the evening of July 21, according to the organizers.
The event was part of the 2020 Qingdao Tan Dun Musical Week, which the organizers said was the world's first musical week to combine a vacation with musical therapy -- also serving as an outside classroom, for nature to cultivate the aesthetic senses of the participants.
