Shinan works to become national civilized city

Zhuhailu sub-district in Shinan district, Qingdao, East China's Shandong province, is working to become a national 5A-level civilized city of Qingdao, according to a local media report on July 20.
The sub-district is also emphasizing five keywords related to 5A – aim, align, ambition, accolade and acculturation.
Aim - share details offline, launch measures online, and arrange for local residents to participate in the development of a civilized city.
Zhuhailu sub-district recruited roughly 50 volunteer teams and issued a volunteer recruitment book through its public WeChat account.
Align - Party building, guidance, and resource planning
Haikoulu community has called for the families of veterans and soldiers to establish "fixed posts" to safeguard the safety of the community.
Ambition - Special actions and long-term mechanisms for improving the sub-district.
Zhuhailu sub-district is focusing on maintaining old buildings, managing traffic and street shops, and sorting garbage.
Accolade - create a harmonious atmosphere through public activities.
Volunteers from four local communities in Zhuhailu sub-district, including Shantoulu community, have held more than 10 garbage sorting activities to promote more widespread adoption of the habit.
Acculturation – create a "strategic map" for improving civility and literacy.
Zhuhailu sub-district has launched a series of cultural activities, including concerts and lectures, to promote core socialist values.
