The Qingdao Study ("青岛书房" in Chinese), located at the intersection of Qufu Road and Zhejiang Road in the eastern coastal city of Qingdao, was renovated from a century-old baroque villa.
The study features a new "experiential and open urban public reading space" and offers books for sale, literature collections, a themed salon, an exhibition area, a beer plaza, cultural and creative designs, promotional tourism services, and a German restaurant.
It is popular among cultured and artistic young people and has become an online sensation due to its unique and exotic atmosphere.
