An e-commerce livestream center was unveiled at the Oceanwide Plaza in Shinan district, Qingdao on May 28. It was established through cooperation between Aoyi Industry Group Co and COSCO Shipping (Qingdao) Co.
The live streaming, e-commerce, and online service industries have been developing rapidly amid the novel coronavirus pandemic. They have helped maintain the stable development of many enterprises.
Data from iiMedia Research, a Chinese market consultancy firm, showed that the value of the e-commerce live streaming industry in China was estimated at 800 billion yuan ($112.52 billion) in 2020.
The center is expected to integrate e-commerce live streaming, the cultivation of internet celebrities, and new internet-based retail sales and provide a boost to the e-commerce live streaming economy.
A number of internet celebrities will be invited to support the industry, and professional live streaming equipment will be introduced. The center will also work with various stores selling garments, bags, shoes, cosmetics, food, handicrafts, and more. Brands will be able to enhance their influence with the help of logistics, advertising, and photography institutions.
In addition, live streaming classes will be provided for people looking to start live streaming businesses.
