Shinan district home to many hilly parks

With the recent cool breezes and pleasant sunshine, now is the perfect time to go for a climb. Shinan district in Qingdao is home to several beautiful parks located on hills to do just that.
Signal Hill Park
Signal Hill is a picturesque coastal hill located in the middle of the city's old urban area. It covers an area of more than 60,000 square meters and is 98 meters above sea level.
Visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the old urban area while climbing to the fourth floor of the highest gazebo. Over 20 renowned scenic spots can be seen from there, including the Christian church, the Trestle Bridge, the Museum of the Former German Governor's House, and the Tsingtao Brewery.

Guanhai Hill Park
Guanhai Hill is located next to Qingdao Bay and looks a bit like a glistening pearl amidst the old urban area. It covers an area of 5,700 sq m and is 66 m above sea level.
The long corridor surrounding the hill is built of cobblestones, and visitors can admire a sea-themed wall painting while walking along it.
Guanxiang Hill Park
Guanxiang Hill Park is located at No 15 Guanxiang Second Road, Shinan district, and is 79 m above sea level. The park was officially established in 1932 and is considered the best place to enjoy the city's night views.
Xiaoyushan Park
Xiaoyushan Park is a traditional landscape park and is so named because it is located near Yushan Road. The hill covers an area of 25,000 sq m and is 61 m above sea level.
Visitors can view the Trestle Bridge, Little Qingdao, Lunxun Park, and the Badaguan scenic area from the hilltop.
