Shinan promotes specialties from Northwest China

An event is being held at the AEON Mall in Shinan district, Qingdao, Shandong province from May 16 to June 15, both to promote agricultural products from Pingba, Anshun, Guizhou province and Dangchang, Longnan, Gansu province, and deepen cooperation between the three areas.
The one-month event includes a variety of activities, including a food week from May 16 to 24, an online promotion fair of tourist attractions in the Pingba and Dangchang areas, and a special activity held in local communities.
A livestream was broadcast on May 16 with the joint efforts of 52 new media around the province, attracting about 280,000 viewers.

Fan Feng, deputy secretary of Shinan district's Party committee, highlighted that the event aims to help expand the market for agricultural products from Pingba and Dangchang, and introduce more delicious specialties to Qingdao.
Sun Gang, deputy manager of Qingdao AEON, a joint retail venture, said that the enterprise feels proud to contribute to the event, and hopes to develop closer cooperative relations with Anshun and Longnan and achieve win-win results.
An online promotion event was also held at a local news studio. Shen Mingshu, an online celebrity, was invited to taste and introduce the specialties, such as Pingba's rice, Guizhou's pears and Dangchang's mushrooms.
According to official data, the sales revenue of the products from Pingba and Dangchang has reached 5 million yuan ($703,304) since the beginning of April, through both online and offline activities.
