A new measure has recently been adopted to manage people entering and exiting commercial buildings in Shinan district, Qingdao, Shandong province. It is expected to increase efficiency amid the novel coronavirus outbreak.
As local enterprises gradually resume operations, the district is striving to promote quicker and more convenient management. A WeChat applet has thus been launched through cooperation of the local government and Qingdao Rural Commercial Bank.
The applet is expected to help manage people entering and exiting buildings. People who work in the buildings can register their information on the applet in advance and enter the building by scanning a QR code.
Visitors must scan a QR code and register their personal information, including their name, phone number, body temperature, destination, and more. The recorded information can then be obtained at any time within the system.
The new measure will be able to ensure fast and contactless checks while promoting strict management and information privacy.
Enterprises can also use the Wechat applet to report difficulties they encounter while resuming operations. Three enterprises in the Qingdao World Trade Center reported a need for face masks on the applet on March 4 and quickly received a supply from the local community.
