A special service group has recently been established in Shinan district, Qingdao, East China's Shandong province to ensure that production can be resumed in a smooth and orderly manner and to help enterprises prevent against the novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP).
According to Chen Jian, director of a local public service center, the center has received a total of 729 phone calls and 811 application files in the first two days since preparation work began.
Enterprises can scan a QR code to handle application files online and receive a text message once an application is approved. This improves efficiency and helps reduce face-to-face contact.
Liang Shuang, a member of the special service group, said that property management companies and local communities are encouraged to work together to examine the situations of enterprises, as the district is home to a large number of companies.
Public areas in company buildings are being disinfected regularly, especially elevators and stairways. All workers must have their temperature taken when entering company buildings.
Protective equipment has been sent to enterprises in need to help workers protect themselves from infection. In addition, working from home is encouraged for enterprises that can manage it.
