Qingdao lantern show to be held in 1st lunar month

A lantern show will be held at Huiquan Square in Shinan district, Qingdao, East China's Shandong province, from Jan 25 to Feb 9.
More than 40 large lantern sets will be put on display to celebrate the Spring Festival and offer blessings.
Dragon and lion dances and circus performances will also be held. The circus performances will be given every 2 hours from morning to evening every day throughout the 16-day show.
Visitors will also get the chance to see a variety of handicrafts, including paper-cuttings, clay sculptures, sugar paintings, and more, and enjoy delicious snacks from around the country.
A total of 670 free parking spots will be provided at Huiquan Square, and people who buy tickets before Jan 25 will enjoy a discount.
