Shinan hosts first lawyer culture festival

Shinan district in Qingdao, East China's Shandong province, recently held its first lawyer culture festival in order to promote exchange among lawyers and encourage them to spread legal culture.
The festival consisted of lectures, forums, presentations, an award ceremony for outstanding lawyers, and performances.
The district is pushing to make significant academic achievements, cultivate excellent lawyers, and become the district of "legal culture" by making it an attractive place for lawyers and increasing the social responsibilities of lawyers who live there.
The performances, which include singing, dancing, and poetry recitals, were all given by local lawyers. They showcased the enthusiasm and patriotism of lawyers in the district.
Jiang Yun, chairman of Shinan district's lawyers association, reviewed the achievements made by the association over the past year and took an oath to better enforce the law.
The district's new lawyers association is the first district-level lawyers association in the province and currently has 892 members.
