It was decided that the headquarter base of China Stone Management Consulting Group would be constructed in Shinan district, Qingdao, Shandong province on Dec 28, and a related conference was held in the district that same day.

Representatives of China Stone Management Consulting Group, along with 15 entrepreneurs from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, and Hunan province, gave speeches during the conference.

The group is one of China's most specialized and largest consulting service providers, as well as the first Chinese enterprise to be honored with the Constantinus International Award by the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes.

The construction of the headquarter base has already begun and it is expected to begin operating in the first half of 2020. It will cover an area of 32,000 square meters and house the headquarters of listed companies involved in the manufacturing, consumption, and health industries.

Wang Qingxian, secretary of the Qingdao municipal Party committee, said that Qingdao is a suitable place to develop a headquarter economy due to its favorable location, strong transportation network, and robust industries.

He added that the local government needs to set a goal of building the base into a center for the modern service industry and use it to attract more enterprise headquarters to the area.

Accordingly, Shinan district has developed the most concentrated headquarter economy in Shandong province. Around 50 regional headquarters of Global Top 500 enterprises are currently operating in the district, and 129 high-end commercial buildings have been built there.

During the conference, seven enterprises from around China signed strategic cooperation agreements with the Shinan district government and China Stone Management Consulting Group.
