A cultural tourism event was held in Shinan district, Qingdao, Shandong province on Dec 15. It was hosted by the district's bureau of culture and tourism and was meant to showcase the literary, aesthetic, and cultural value of Shinan district. 

The event was led by Sun Shuwei, a well-known national-level tour guide. More than 50 residents and college students participated.

Qingdao, a famous city with a long history and profound culture, is home to many historical and cultural figures, and it is rich in valuable cultural artifacts and historical buildings. Most former residences of these famous figures are well protected and represent a significant part of the city's history and culture.

The cultural tourism event has been listed as one of the Shinan district government's main focuses this year. 

During the event, a total of three tourist routes were introduced. They include trips to famous former residences, historical buildings, ancient streets, modern fashion attractions, and various other emerging attractions. 

Some new major tourist sites being developed in the district, such as the Forbidden City Cultural and Creative Store of Qingdao, are involved in the new routes. 

The district plans to organize the event every year in order to provide more opportunities for residents and tourists to better experience what the district has to offer.
