A volunteer activity was held in Shinan district, Qingdao, Shandong province on International Day for Persons with Disabilities, which falls on Dec 3.
Volunteers visited over 20 disable people living in local communities. Doctors from Qingdao Weile Dental Hospital gave them advice on preserving their teeth and offered free basic treatment and consultation services.
Volunteer groups teamed with the Qingdao Weile Dental Hospital to provide services for disabled people and offered them some handmade gifts as well.
In order to provide the best possible services to people with disabilities, volunteers sought suggestions and advice from families with disabled people.
Shinan plans to provide more services and care for disable people in the future, with the goal of making them feeling more integrated into and accepted by society.
