A fair for attracting investment and talent to Shinan district, Qingdao, Shandong province was held in Shanghai on Nov 5.

A total of 53 representatives from chambers of commerce and enterprises were invited to the fair to discuss the development of Shinan district and promote projects suited to the district.

The Shinan district government signed strategic cooperation agreements with six associations and enterprises, including the Shandong Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.

The Shinan district delegation also met with China Brands Group, and the two parties agreed to establish an IP copyright center in Shinan.

In recent years, the district has been making efforts to transform itself into an international exchange center for trade, finance, shipping services, and fashion with the help of the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qingdao Area.
