An employment service month was launched in Shinan district, Qingdao, Shandong province on Oct 31.

At the opening ceremony, the local government handed out brochures on personnel policies to staff members from 10 sub-districts. Preferential policies, which focus on employment, entrepreneurship and taxation, were explained to enterprise representatives.

In addition, several entrepreneurs were invited to recount their entrepreneurial experiences.

A series of activities relating to information sharing, policy promotion, start-up projects, and recruitment will be organized from Oct 31 to Nov 30 with the aim of helping maintain a stable employment rate in the district.

An estimated 10,000 brochures will be printed, and more than 3,000 job opportunities and 1,000 internship opportunities will be on offer during the event.
