Cooperation between Qingdao, Shandong province and Shenzhen, Guangdong province in fashion culture was promoted via a fashion salon held in Shenzhen on Oct 28.

More than 70 representatives from Qingdao and Shenzhen participated in the salon to discuss the development of the fashion industry. Fashion industrial chains and the construction of fashion industrial parks in Qingdao and Shenzhen were also discussed in depth.

The salon is an important part of the 2019 World University Student Fashion Design Competition, which will be held from Nov 6 to 9 in Shinan district, Qingdao, and has promoted cooperation between fashion enterprises in the two cities.

Talents from 25 fashion design colleges around the world will be invited to the event, as will experts and company representatives from China and abroad. It aims to facilitate innovation in the global fashion industry and increase Qingdao's global influence.
